With the Biñan Christmas Charity approaching soon, the Executive Council will be holding one last fundraiser project called Brent Loves Biñan, which will be happening from November 28 to December 9.
The Council is encouraging all Middle and Upper School Students, faculty members and parents to donate money or goods of any amount. If you'd like to donate goods, please refer to your batch pages for the type of items each grade level is encouraged to bring, then place your donations in the boxes at the Drop Off Area. If you'd like to donate money, please address the check to Brent International School Manila and mention on the back that it is for the Biñan Christmas Charity. So far, the Executive Council has raised enough money to buy buckets for 800 out of the 1000 families in the community. We're so close, and with your donations, not only will we reach our goal, you can become someone's Christmas miracle.

Our Christmas Exhibit opens on Monday, November 28 at 9:30 in the morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony led by Mr. Andy O'Hara, Middle School Principal. Before the opening, the Jazz band and the Strings class will perform in the atrium.
The exhibit showcases works from all grade levels in the ELC, the Lower School the Middle School, the Upper School and the IB Visual Arts classes. Various forms, media, techniques and processes are reflected in the pieces that were produced during the first semester. The theme for this exhibition is "Water", which was used as inspiration for many of the works in the show. The Visual Arts teachers and students would be most honoured by your presence. The Lower School Student Council invites ELC and Lower School students to join the Noodle Contest for the Binan Christmas Charity Program. Students are encouraged to bring packs of instant noodles to school. Each ELC and Lower School classroom will have a box where students can put the noodle packs. The class with the most number of packs will win a Free Dress day. Posters will be around school for details.
We would like to invite you to join the Faculty/Parents/Staff Christmas Choir. The group will sing "We Three Kings" at the Lessons and Carols on December 16.
Señor Noel Bugarin, US Modern Languages-Spanish teacher will be the Choir conductor. Ms. Joy Inion, LS Music teacher has agreed to accompany the group on the piano. |
